Want to take your game to the next level?

As somebody who is undersized in the game of basketball, I have to work harder and be more creative to score baskets amongst taller, more physical defenders. These trainings will be centered on mastering jump shot mechanics/approaches, getting players comfortable with various moves and countermoves, and ultimately giving younger players a more simplified outlook on the sport.

Focal Points/General Training Outline

Ball Handling

  • Is a must for all types of players 1-5

Form Shooting

  • Focus on perfect mechanics in order to use momentum properly

Various Finishes + Footwork

  • Aimed to challenge players and get them out of their comfort zones

Jump Shooting off the Catch + off the Dribble

  • Practice the shots you’ll see in the game

Free Throws

  • Free throws after jump shots (in order to simulate tiredness like in real late game-scenarios)

Stretching + Water

  • Healthy habits like stretching, drinking enough water, eating nutritious foods, and getting enough sleep will make you a better basketball player
